How to Create a Note on a Task via Contact View

Locations:

  1. Contact Record View/Tasks Section - > Click on the Task Record to access the Task View Mode where you can then click through to the Notes section of the Task.
    OR
  2. Contact Record View/General Section/ Upcoming Schedule - > Click on the Name of the Task record to access the Task View Mode where you can then click through to the Notes section of the Task.

Overview: One way to create a note on a task, is to visit the relevant contact record—either yours as the owner, or an associated lead contact—and on the upcoming schedule in the general section, click the name of the task. In the view mode of the task that comes up, you can then click through to the Notes section of the task.
